Calavera Padre by PLAYA PADRE
In 2022, Elena Camacho was one of thirteen artists selected to participate in Calavera Padre, an artistic and charitable project created by Al Aire Libra for the iconic beach club Playa Padre in Marbella, part of the Mosh Group.
The initiative consisted of creating thirteen monumental skull-shaped sculptures — inspired by the club’s logo — produced in fiberglass by the renowned Taller de Piñero, international leaders in experimental tableware and sculpture for haute cuisine.
Each Monday, over the course of thirteen consecutive weeks, a different artist intervened in their piece live, in a unique and highly “Instagrammable” performance that combined art, music, and experience in an exclusive seaside setting.
Elena Camacho’s work was one of the thirteen pieces selected for auction, reaching a value of €8,500, which consolidated the success of the initiative both in artistic and charitable terms.
This project demonstrated how art can transcend the object itself, transforming into a shared experience that connects with the community and generates cultural and social impact.
